Pawsitive Parents is a private community platform and is not an official government registry. Use of this app does not fulfill your legal obligation to register your pet with the Dubai Municipality (DM), the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi, or any other UAE authority. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their pets are registered with the competent authorities as required by UAE Federal Law.
2. AI Accuracy & Breed Identification
The AI Breed Identification tool is for informational and entertainment purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, Pawsitive Parents makes no guarantees regarding the precision of breed identification. This data should not be used for legal, medical, or travel documentation.
3. AI Health Assistant (No Professional Advice)
The AI Pet Health Assistant provides general information and triage guidance based on the data you provide. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a licensed UAE veterinarian with any questions regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read on this app.
4. Ownership & Microchip Data
Pawsitive Parents does not legally certify pet ownership. The upload of a microchip number (UID) is a tool for identification within the app community. Official proof of ownership is only recognized via municipality-issued certificates and vaccination records. We are not liable for any ownership disputes arising from data entered into this platform.
5. Reporting Animal Abuse
By using the Abuse Reporting tool, you acknowledge that Pawsitive Parents acts only as a facilitator to forward your report to the relevant UAE authorities. We do not guarantee immediate action by the authorities and are not responsible for the outcome of any investigation. We will maintain your anonymity as per our Privacy Policy, except where required by UAE law to disclose information to law enforcement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Pawsitive Parents, its developers, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to pet health issues, loss of data, or disputes between users and service partners.
Payment Processing Fees
7. Ziina Payment Fees
Payments on Pawsitive Parents are processed via Ziina. The following fees apply and are charged by Ziina per transaction:

Subscriptions (AED 7–70): Processing fees are absorbed by Pawsitive Parents. No additional charge to you.
Vet Bill Donations (larger amounts): The Ziina processing fee (2.6% + AED 1) is shown transparently at checkout so you can see the exact breakdown before confirming. For example, a donation of AED 2,000 incurs an approximate fee of AED 53.
